Good Laughs

It has been a while. Sorry to anyone that checks out the blog. I have finally
found something that has motivated me to come back and post. Buttery Ass Mondays
reminds me of Seinfeld in the skateboard world. It has short videos about nothing and
is hilarious. Check it out, I assure you a couple laughs.

Zine Check

I am a big fan of reading material that you can hold in your hands.
Above is the new Hole Shot Zine. I received the last one and was
stoked on the content which consisted of everything that makes BMX fun
and addicting. It is real simple, creative, and cheap, but a good read.
I'll will be buying this one and maybe even ordering the subscription.

SF Mixtape Episodes 1 & 2

The first two episodes of the Lotek San Francisco Mixtape can be found on their site. Like always, the Lotek riders shred with style and originality to a mix of good music (Atmosphere, Greyboy, and Zion I and the Grouch). The interesting part about the whole concept of the video is that it is shot over several months with riders being flown into San Francisco a couple at a time. Pretty cool. I was hoping that the video was going to be coming out all at once on DVD, but different episodes every week for free is cool too. Thanks Lotek for the entertainment and great riding.

etnies X Adult Swim Colab

Using etnies skate kicks as his palette, Adult Swim artist and creative director, Jacob Escobedo, gives us two pairs of the Jameson model with an Adult Swim cartoon twist. Marking the first time both companies have teamed up, the collaboration makes for quite an unique pairing of two leaders in their respective industries. The lime green lace-up silhouette features the character Ignignokt from the hit series (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) amongst a bright colorway. We also get a look at the brown leather joints that bring that same craziness featuring a collage of various laser etched characters from the shows (Aqua Teen) as well as (Squidbillies). The limited edition green colorway is expected to be released on October 2nd while the laser version Jameson drops in November 2008. Be sure to check out ebay.com for some ridiculous pricing here soon.

Cruisers

As I have gotten older I have started to appreciate all styles of bicycles. It used to be strictly 20" of pure BMX radness, but now I find myself fixated on the different cruisers, fixed gears, and road bikes. What I am getting at is the new 26" Cruiser that MacNeil Bikes is comong out with soon. They look very clean and stylish, with a great cruiser look.
